Our chance to speak for ourselves

Why this page exists - and how to use it

The decisions that will shape professional drone operations - airspace access, BVLOS, Remote ID, what "professional" even means - are being made right now. So far we have faced them as thousands of separate operators. A fragmented industry gets rules written about it. A unified one helps write them. We have a unique opportunity, at this moment, to come together as an industry and speak for ourselves.

What you are looking at is an initial framework, not a finished organization. It is a first draft of how a national association could be governed, what it would deliver, and the founding seats it will take to lead it. Nothing here is final, and we are looking for feedback, suggestions, and challenges to every part of it.

And when something looks wrong, missing, or worth building, use the Give feedback button at the bottom right: click it, then click the box you have thoughts on, and say it straight. Every note is read, and we will be thoughtful about how feedback is integrated into the vision for the org.

How this page works

Roll over any box - if it lifts, there is more behind it.
Click a box and a panel slides out with the full detail: the charter, the role, and what it takes to lead it. Keyboard works too - Tab to a box and press Enter.
Boxes tagged OPEN are founding seats we are recruiting for right now.
Close the panel with the × button, the Esc key, or a click outside it.
